How to get to Singapore

By air
Singapore Airport also known as the Changi Airport happens to be one of the busiest airports of the world. More than 70 Airlines from over 53 countries fly to and from Singapore everyday. This International Airport is highly reputed and maintained at par  international standards with meditation room, restaurants and cinema hall. It has won over 250 awards but more than the awards Changi is a sure delight to any passengers coming after a long journey.

By Train
By train you can avail Singapore if you are coming from Malaysia or Thailand. There are two train services that are available from these two countries:

1. The Eastern Oriental Express which is truly luxurious and allow travelers to enjoy both style and comfort in an elegant way. On the way you can also savor the mystical wonders and hedonistic temptation of Singapore.
2. The KTM trains also offer an efficient and comfortable ride through and into Singapore from Malaysia.

By Vehicle
When you are coming through to Singapore in hired vehicles or your own car you need to pay for tolls and VEP or vehicle entry permit. Private cars need to have all their insurance papers.

By Ferry
From Riau archipelago of Indonesia - ferry would be the right way to get to Singapore.

How to get around 

Bus
Buses would take you to different towns and stops at Singapore. There are separate buses for the industrial belts and for towns. Again there are buses that ply on express ways and in between towns. Complete separations of buses in and around the country provided citizens and tourists quick and punctual ways to get around the city. All the buses are comparatively clean and tidy and there are two distinct companies providing transport. One is SBS Transit and another is SMRT Corporation. Both the services are cheap and commendable to people.

MRT or Mass Rapid Transit
It’s a very modern and comfortable way to travel around Singapore. The trains are air-conditioned and almost all expanse of the Singapore Island is covered through its North- South, East – West and North -East line. Taxi
Call 6-3425-222 or tap out the 6-DIAL-CAB in alphabetical prompter to get to the taxis that are attached to Call centers. If you have just arrived at Changi Airport then you can avail any taxi from Level 1 terminal 1 & 2. The taxis are air- conditioned and have meters attached meters making the payment very transparent and hassle free.

Private Cars
If you contact any travel agent inside the city or your hotels they can arrange private cars for you. Though not as cheap as MRT or Bus, you can get to your destination without being worried over how to get there. Most chauffeurs that are provided are English speaking local people who know place.

Trishaws
Trishawa are tricycles with seats for the passengers, usually one or two. It was introduced in Singapore in 1914 and since then has been very popular among tourists.

Tram
Tram as we know are trains operating on rails that were laid on roads. At Singapore tram was replaced by Tram buses that can take you around Suntec City, Clarke Quay, Marina Centre, the Singapore River, Raffles Hotel, the Central City and the Orchard Road.
