Darwin

It is the Capital city of Northern  Australian Territory, least populous and smallest of all. It used to be a port area. The city still holds the same flavor or being a pioneering outpost though it is a small port, but its much modern now. Darwin has grown into a multicultural city. Darwin is also a hub for tourism and  a city that depends on the tourism industry a large deal. Travelers are drawn to the city for Kakadu National Park,  Litchfield National Park, and Nitmiluk National Parks.

Besides Litchfield, the Arnhem Land and the Tiwi Islands draws travelers in huge numbers too. The rich history of the town can give you an opportunity to peek into different historical sites, like events when World War II swiped the city and its people.

Katherine and surrounding

Unique ecosystem and diverse arid landscapes of Katherine can be testing time for adventurers. But if you are on for some expedition and like exploring the unknown, then this is the perfect holiday spot for you. You can try out motorcycling or bushwalking. Rivers of Katherine and Victoria makes it an excellent camp site for bird watchers and fishers. There are also numerous gorges and hot springs. Alice Springs and Surrounding

Alice spring is another lively city like Darwin and is in the desert of Australia. The place was inhabited by people who came to this land seeking gold, rubies and gems. People still carries hope and visits the surrounding locales in hope of stumbling upon some precious gems.

Favorite activity of most travelers who come and visit Alice Spring or its surrounding is Trekking, camping, four wheel driving or quad bike riding, which are common and very safe activity.

Uluru Kata Tjuta surrounds

Uluru Ayers rock is Australia’s most iconic place. Among desert this famous sandstone is recognized because of its peculiar character of having most of its part below the ground  like an iceberg. On the surface is Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park, which is another one of the many world heritage sites that Australia boasts of. It’s also very significant to people of Australia and know for its aboriginal history.

Spoilt drivers would get the right seat out here at tenant creek. Get behind the steering wheels and enjoy Australia’s true raw spirit. A must watch is the Devils Marbles, which is rock structure that stands on the mid of the arid region in Tenant creek.

This place was originally inhabited by the aboriginal people. Nyinkka Nyunyu Cultural Centre still gives you an idea about their life then and you can compare it with events now.  Also worth a mention is The Telegraph Station that was built to connect people. One very famous historical collection now - The stone buildings exiting today are still explored and well liked.
