The Merlion: The iconic emblem of Singapore is The Merlion, a lion head fish bodied creature put up at Merlion Park Singapore. Build by artist Mr. Lim Nang Seng it’s 8.6 meters tall and represents Singapore’s simple beginning as fishing center and also the very meaning of Singapore from the Sanskrit word of ‘Singapura’. 

There are two Merlions at Merlion Park, Singapore. The old one is now replaced in front of Fullerton hotel, which used to be a general post office.

Getting know Singapore: You can experience the presence of past and also the present, as you peek into future of Singapore. You can get inside, camp and get close with the wild as you walk along trails of fishing cat, leopard and forest giants. Animals here come from the far away lands of Africa, India, Nepal and Burma. So there are wide variance of different nocturnal animals. The experience is truly enriching and thrilling to all.
