A visit to any city and especially to Singapore won’t be over unless you do a little city trailing and indulge yourself with shopping. The best place to shop
would be at Orchard road famous for designer wears boutiques and international brands.

Little India is a small ride to Serangoon Road on the east side of the Singapore River. On west is the China Town. So, you can pick up sarees, spices, Buddha statues, chopsticks and many more. You can even savor the delight of Indian and Chinese cuisines here. Favorites among most tourists as well as locals are Char Kway Teow, Bah Kut Teh and Chicken Rice.

If you have got taste well suited for spicy Indian food, go for Roti, Paratha and curry or choose any European dishes, if that's what is in your mind. There are too many restaurant and very many cuisines to suit the delight of any traveler coming in from any part of the world. Well known in Little India at Dunlop Street is Abdul Gaffoor Mosque. And at China Town there is Sri Mariamman Temple the oldest Hindu temple in Singapore.

Another heaven on earth experience for shopaholics is at Arab Street and Kampong Glam.
